What Manner of Man is This Pt. 2: Jesus Is God

2,000 years ago, the Jews had their own idea of who the Messiah was supposed to be. Because of this, many missed the first coming of Jesus. Today we are in the same boat as the Jews were 2,000 years ago. As the world gets closer to the return of Christ, who Jesus was and who He is gets more and more blurred with each generation. We have our own preconceptions of who we believe Jesus should be that we could miss the second coming of Christ. Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the Truth of who Jesus is in his fiery message, What Manner of Man is This Pt. 2: Jesus Is God.

What Manner of Man is This

Jesus Is God

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:1-5, 14

12 Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

Revelation 22:12-13

The Power of Jesus

It is only through Jesus, the Son of God, that we can be saved. It’s only in Him that there is Salvation for both the Jew and the Gentile. It’s only in His name that we can ask the Father and the Father answers us. It’s all only through Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:18-20

12 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

John 14:12-14

11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
