¹⁹There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. ²⁰And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, ²¹who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores.
²²The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. Who Is Satan?

Satan (the Devil) is one person in the Bible that everyone knows, even if they’ve never been to Church. The problem is that most Christians don’t actually know who Satan is or how he deceives the world. When pastors teach about Satan, 99.9% of the time, they use verses that have nothing to do with Satan while seemingly ignoring the verses about Satan. If we never really know who our enemy is or how he attacks, how will we ever defeat or overcome him? The Revelation 12 Account of Who Satan Is

⁷Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, ⁸but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. ⁹And the great dragon was thrown down (from Heaven), that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

¹ When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, ²the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. ³Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” ⁴The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. The Nephilim Pt. 3: The Origin of The Nephilim

The Nephilim are a mysterious group of giant beings in Scripture. They seem to just appear on the scene out of nowhere. Because of this, where they came from is often debated and argued throughout the Church and even in the world. ¹ When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron and said to him, “Up, make us gods who shall go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” ²So Aaron said to them, “Take off the rings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” ³So all the people took off the rings of gold that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. ⁴And he received the gold from their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made a golden calf. Who Was the Serpent in the Garden of Eden?

The Threat

At the very least once a year, an ominous and perceived menace of a date pops its threatening, sinister head up on our Gregorian calendar. It’s none other than Friday the 13^th.

Where and when did this day turn so spooky and threatening?

If you search Friday the 13^th, the majority of results will claim it all started with the arrest and eradication of the Knights Templars on Friday the 13^th of October 1307.

A few instances of bad things that happened on This Day:

October, Friday 13, 1307: King Philip IV of France arrested hundreds of Knights Templar and later had them executed
