As humans, we are tempted by the enemy daily. We fall in some way daily. Why? Because we are human. We aren’t perfect. That’s why we need God. We need His guidance. His blood. His Spirit. His presence. His everything. When we are tempted, we have to combat that with one thing, scripture. Scripture is our only weapon against the enemy. It’s so important, that Jesus defended Himself against Satan by quoting a scripture about living off of scripture. In Matthew 4:4, Jesus said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Are you getting your daily dose of bread?
