“25 Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” ~ John 11:25-26
2,000 years ago, Jesus died on a cross and was buried in a tomb, for the sins of the entire world. But His story didn’t end there, for He rose from the dead three days later and now sits at the right hand of The Father. When Jesus rose, He overcame everything. Death no longer has victory and the grave no longer has its sting because God has overcome.
Because Jesus has risen and is alive! When He comes back, we shall be alive with Him for all eternity. We will be joined together with all of our saved loved ones who have gone ahead of us and we will be with them in a place with no more pain, no more suffering, no tears for all of eternity. So rejoice this Resurrection Sunday, for our God and our King is not dead! No He is ALIVE!
